Guess who's back! Back again!
Well, it's been real interesting this past week. Besides missing RAW, gaining weight, and slacking REAL hard in front of my RPG game, I have to say things are taking a real upturn. =)
Good things that have happened:
1) A certain comment by a friend of mine really stuck throughout the week. She said something to the effect of, "Daniel, you're a real nice person to talk with. Just don't change topic so fast!"
That was the most helpful statement all week. Really. For ages I've been wondering why people get so exhausted emotionally hanging around me. (and actually, me too with them) Finally, I know, hah, that it's 'cos I'm always moving and they're rushing to catch up.
I decided to do some reflecting and realised it was the same with my conversations with God! HA. So I decided to "stay on the same topic" with the Lord, if you like, and realised that all along he has been asking me to staY. Really just to stay in his presence, no need to move. Just stay on the same topic, let the Lord continue to deal with me and love me, and basically just STAY and not keep moving. =) And that's what the Lord's been bringing to remembrance all week!
Not to mention it was a real help in my conversations with Jan and some of my NUS mates as well. So really, it's been quite amazing. A timely word always does something like that.
2) Me and Jan getting closer and closer. =) And it's really wonderful. Didn't realise I would enjoy myself so much with her. And I really like talking to her. I mean, besides all the gooey feelings that accompany us, I especially like the fact that we can just chit-chat like friends also. Hee. And I can go crazy with her without feeling weird!
For e.g., we decided to hang out in the city till the wee hrs of the morn last wk. So we were sitting by the steps of some court, then apparently we weren't the only "torn"-ers around. So I just went crazy whenever they looked over~~ like waving and shouting "hi!!" in a very loud voice. HAHA. Thank God for a ger who likes my sense of FUN. Muahahahha.
Aye, my dad still thinks I rushed into it. Never mind la. So long I'm sure of what I chose. =] He still hopes to have some uni undergrad daughter-in-law, I imagine. To me, pls la. Undergrad doesn't mean she will love your son more. :P
3) God spoke today again. =) I like being in Malaysia for this reason. Gets me away from some of the things that zaps my time. And good food! Without spending money! =))
4) My new resolution: to have the body and aura of John Cena (of the WWE). I can't have the height, but so long I exude the aura eh sai liao. :P Haha.

5) For the first time in months, I'm broke. Hahahahha. =) That's ok. I'm trusting God for the finance, and this'll probably cause my brain to start clicking and increase my financial intelligence. Time to find problems to solve and get money in the process. *wink*
