The power of a plan

Yesterday, before sleeping, I read the book "Rich Kid Smart Kid" and discovered the business genius behind getting 4 green houses and trading them in for a Red hotel (via Monopoly).

So today, I decided to get a plan for Hotels. Played Hotels with my mum and trashed her FLAT. As in, "no chan-s". She didn't even have a building left by the time we decided to end the game...which lasted half an hour.

This shows me that I may not be very smart, but I need to know what's a good plan and carry it out. Even if I'm as slow as a tortoise, but if I keep at the good plan I will overtake the hare.

So -- I will be laying out some good plans for my ministries and my business. More coming up soon.

Give thanks, with a grateful heart

Wanna thank God for his grace. So far, inviting people to Project Y has met with 4 tentative "yes"es. =) Feel very encouraged, and although I know that the actual numbers will be less, but believing God for a lot more "yes"es over these next 2 weeks.

May the faith of Christ rest in my heart and may his Holy Spirit fill me with boldness as I put myself as an instrument in his hands. May he use my life for his good will. May his will be done here on earth. And may I be a contributor to the fulfillment of that will.

I'm a bit concerned for one of my girls. I pray that God will strengthen her through the power of His Spirit. I also pray that God will enable us to bond better than before. May there be a unity in the Spirit and a bond of love. In Jesus' name.

I release the healing of Christ over my family, my girlfriend, and to all those I come into contact with. I pray the life of Christ flow through me, killing every sickness and disease in the people I lay my hands on. Above all, Satan, you've no hold on my family and my friends. Stop oppressing them, and get away! Keep your oppressive thoughts to yourself. I declare freedom over this household.

So thank you Lord, for victory and power in who Jesus is. May it be no longer I that lives. May Christ live in me. May I know who my master is, not money nor possessions, but you. And since I cannot serve two masters, I will serve you Lord.

To Him who is able to do far more than we ever hoped for, expected, or can imagine! -- Be glory, honour, and power forever! Amen.

Mission Trip!

Today, dezelous and me decided: next yr dec is the time we go back to Tacloban. Hehe. I intend to ask my Dearest and Gordan along if possible. We prolly will need one more sister. Anyone?? :)

Tentative thoughts rushing through my head:

1. Prolly will teach on hermeneutics in the Bible school...

2. Will let all the rest preach in the devotions. =) Preach encouraging messages!

3. Slack at Bo's Coffee Club

4. Play LAN wif dezelous

5. Buy chilli for all the Singaporean missionaries there.

YAY!

Now I just need to pray in $1000. =)

Lim peh ka LI Kong

Lim peh ka li kong hor... Today is a speh-cel (special) day.

A number of things I have made decisions on:

1. To stop slacking. To get some business stuff done...and to maintain my prayer life.

2. To have faith in God. And I will emulate James: (hokkien tone) "You say you gort faith. Good!... I'll show you my faith by whad I do."

3. To talk to at least 2 people about Jesus by the end of this academic year.

4. To limit my romantic life. Don't get me wrong, it's great and all. But I need to spend more time in my romance with God.

5. Not to organise too many programmes. Programmes are great, spiritual advertising is even better.

6. To spend at least half an hour a day on MSN so that I have *a life*

My tentative dream fantasies that if came true would really make my day:

1. To be able to pin Daniel's 95 theses on the door of the THCC "function room (60 pax)".

2. To reduce my weight into the 70s region.

3. To CREATE 95 theses in the first place.

4. To know my weight.

Guten Morgen, everyone!

Hi guys~

I'm back to my posts. :) Boy has it been a long long time... Had been so busy with everything, and now am bored to tears. Oh, the irony of life. If only it were possible to have such a thing as a work-life balance and the self-discipline to boot. Hiaks.

Project Y is coming! YAY! =) For those who don't know, NUS Outreach is going to be preaching the gospel to some of our unsaved friends, using the first three lessons of Alpha. For those of you who're believers, pray for us ya? We hope that more and more people can come to know the good news about Jesus. And that we will be used by God to bring this good news to people.

Today's Agenda: 10 statements that summarise Daniel's life right now.

ONE God and focus in life;
TWO hearts in the process of becoming one;
THREE big goals for the holidays;
FOUR youth leaders to rebuild the youth group;
FIVE times five is the total amount of money I have left;
SIX tapes of Curry Blake's Healing tapes finished;
SEVEN handmade guitars left to be sold;
EIGHT kilos to lose;
NINE bags to move to JB;
TEN days to a special day!
